Why Búzios?

In the 1960s, Búzios was put on the map thanks to Brigitte Bardot. Now known as the St. Tropez of South America, Búzios is famous for its unique combination of rustic charm, natural beauty and sophisticated boutiques and restaurants.

Just two an a half hours from Rio de Janeiro, Búzios is an ideal escape from the hustles and glitter of big film festivals and markets where we do business. We believe we’ve found just the perfect ambiance for a small company like Habanero operate in these times of internet ubiquity.

Alfredo and Patricia have been Búzios residents since 1995.
